😍The most amazing adventure we have ever done! 👫🏻 The morning started with helping each other put on our rented waders, neoprene socks, then boots! This was hysterical. The water temperature is 36* so this was needed for us Florida folks. 🥶 Then packed our bikes up and rode all the way up to Temple of Sinawava to start our hike on the Riverside Walk for one mile to the beginning of the Narrows. The Narrows is the narrowest section of Zion Canyon. This gorge, with walls 2,000 feet tall and the river sometimes just twenty to thirty feet wide, is one of the most popular areas in Zion National Park. It’s an 8 hour hike, 9.4 mile, 334 ft elevation change, going up stream in a very rocky, slippery Virgin River. You are responsible for checking the weather, water levels, flash flood potential prior to attempting this hike. And sign a waiver! 🤦🏻♀️ The hike through The Narrows requires hiking in the Virgin River & a hiking stick is a must. You must get your feet wet since there is no trail, switching sides trying to stay in the shallowest part of the river. Most of the time the water was below our waist. What a beautiful but challenging adventure. Such beauty all around us. We then dragged our tired bodies up the path to our bikes where passer-bier’s got a laugh for we needed each other’s help to get these wet shoes and waders off and into dry clothes & sandals for our long ride back down the mountain. So after a 17 mile round trip bike ride 🚴, 2 miles walking on the trail & 2 1/2 miles walking on rocks in the river, we came back cold & exhausted! It was hot soup & called it a night. 💤

Wow. These are great photos!
