Grand Canyon was very cold place. 30* at night! 🥶❄️🥶 The park is 102 years old. The canyon width is 18 miles at its widest point and the floor is 4800 ft below the rim. 😱 The Colorado River flows 277 miles inside the park. Photographing this canyon is impossible! It’s one of those places you must see with your own eyes! Our campsite couldn’t be any better for right across from us is a grassy field and we are greeted with Elk morning, noon and night! 🦌 They are all over this park and have no fear of people. We put lots of miles on our bikes. A lot of hiking the rim and the beautiful trails this park offers. I even took a portion of the Bright Angel Trail! 🥾🚶🏻♀️This is the trail people can ride mules down to the bottom and spend the night before heading back up. Sunset pictures taken at Moran Point with a view of the river! Took a shuttle bus to Hermit’s Rest (which is at the end of the park) where we stood under the bell for good luck! Well I did it 4 times!!! 🤦🏻♀️ Sunday was an amazing day for we had booked months ago lunch reservations at El Tovar Lodge at the GC village! What a magnificent view, having lunch looking at the canyon. We are finally relaxing!!! Our last night we were exhausted from our day that dinner consisted of wine, pop tarts & pudding! 🤣😂😍

😍. Beautiful!
